If you are feeling unworthy, it can be hard to know what to do to make yourself feel better. You feel unsure about how to get started.

As a wellness coach, many of my clients are feeling unworthy in some aspect of their life, whether it be in parenting, their career, or of their dreams and desires.

I often suggest remembering one (or all!) of the three categories below to get you back on track to feeling good. Movement, Mindset, and Nourishment are all parts of the foundation of overall wellness, which can make a huge difference in feeling good. Remember M, M, N (Movement, Mindset, Nourishment).

1. Movement

Get your body physically moving, in any way, shape, or form that feels good to YOU! If you don’t know where to begin, a simple walk outside is perfect. Simple is sometimes best to stick to when feeling unworthy! Simple does NOT mean less effective! Numerous studies have proven movement and exercise a key factor to feeling your best.

2. Mindset

Taking care of your mind is always an important form of self-care, and moving from feeling worthless to feeling good. Taking time to journal, practice affirmations or mantras, or using meditation are all ways to take care of your mind. Fortunately, there are so many free, amazing resources for guided meditations if you don’t know where to begin!

3. Nourishment

The food you eat every day has a direct impact on how you feel. And although I’m sure this isn’t a surprise, remembering to nourish your body properly can be challenging. To make yourself feel good, try choosing a food that is both nutrient-dense and delicious. Not only will you physically feel good, but choosing foods and flavors that we enjoy aid to our mental health too! A simple and versatile way I do this is to make a smoothie!

The hardest part when you feel unworthy is getting started on something that will make you feel good instead. Once you choose an area of wellness to dive into, fully commit yourself to completing it. Make a date with yourself on the calendar! Cheers to feeling good!
