Can you give me an introduction to 2Date4Love?
Sure! So I founded 2Date4Love as a resource for dating and lifestyle information catered to millennials and Gen Zers. It started as a side project during all the free time I had and now has grown into a full-fledged website. I haven’t thought much about the financials as I mostly run it as a personal blog. However, my plan is to turn it into my own online startup business in 2021.
How do you start your day? And what do you do to make it productive?
What makes my day the most productive is having a large smoothie to start that day that keeps me sustained until the early afternoon. Then I eat something light, saving heavy meals for the end of the day. This allows me to get the most out of my productive hours of the day without having to spend time cooking, cleaning, or attending to anything related to the kitchen!
Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?
I would like to see myself as a successful writer running an online business from a chalet somewhere in the Swiss Alps.
What does success look like to you?
Success to me is finding the balance between professional and family life, which is something many people struggle with in this day in age. Since we all need to work and opportunities are even bigger now that working from home is the norm, it’s easy to be successful in your professional life while neglecting everything else. So success is finding the perfect balance that allows you to enjoy the comfort and all the benefits of working independently while maintaining your social responsibilities in perfect harmony.
What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an inspiring entrepreneur?
I would say using the Pomodoro Technique, which allows me to work in bursts when I’m the most productive. This way, I can compartmentalize different tasks and do them more efficiently while also allowing me to get more rest.
Do you practice yoga & mediation to keep mind, body healthy, and calm?
Yes, although I’m not really experienced, I have started doing yoga and practicing meditation every day. I can say that it’s improved my mindstate and energy levels, although it takes time to start seeing real benefits. So far, it’s been a great process, and I plan to continue, as it’s one of the good habits I picked up from being in quarantine!
Questions about Dating:
Why do you need to Stop Texting First If You Want to Enjoy Dating?
Many young people nowadays favor texting over meeting face-to-face, which ruins the experience of real dating. If you want to really get to know the person you are dating, try and spend as much in-person time as possible. Avoid texting all the time; if you really must communicate when you are apart, always call first before sending a text.
Why is it important to TAKE a Break from Dating and Imagine a Better Future?
Dating can sometimes end up taking a lot of your personal free time and can be a lot of fun. However, if the relationships you are pursuing aren’t going anywhere, consider taking a break to figure out what you really want in the future. Take some time to meditate on your past relationships and imagine what your life would look like in the future with each one of them. Once you’ve figured out what type of partner will help you reach a better future, you can go back to dating with a clear mindset and expectations.
Modern Dating Terms, every millennial should know?
One of the most common modern dating terms that causes a lot of confusion in relationships is the practice of “ghosting.” In the culture of smartphones and texting that we live in today, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with so much communication happening over several channels. So it’s understandable when someone doesn’t read your message or appears not to have “seen” what you sent them a few hours ago.
However, “ghosting” is the practice of avoiding communications with a dating partner deliberately. That is, seeing their message pop up on your smartphone display but choosing to “ignore” it even though you are online. Some people will “ghost” forever and never return any communications, ending the relationship right there.
Reality Vs. Expectations: Dating a Guy for a month.
Most people expect to have a very clear picture of the direction a relationship is going right after dating a guy for one month. From experience, I can tell you, one month is only the tip of the iceberg, and it takes months to discover who the person you’re dating really is. The initial relationship period seldomly has arguments or fights, since the start of any relationship is marked by a lot of fun.
After some time passes, both parties start to let down their guard and present their partners with their “true selves.” Only then can a relationship truly evolve, which can take anywhere from a few months to a year for most couples. My advice is to never assume to know anyone until you’ve spent at least a year together with them in a relationship but allow yourself to have fun without any expectations.
