Saleint is in “The Industry, Born in the Industry, For The Industry” – Mahima Tripathi

Next in our rule breakers series is Mahima Tripathi, Chief Brand Ambassador of Saleint. Started as a Sales & Marketing Agency, Saleint now promotes tourism-based organizations and brings them in front of their target market. They also support travel agents and meeting planners by providing them with resources that make customer sales easy. 

Let’s know how Saleint managed to be where it is now under the guidance of Mahima Tripathi. 

Can you tell a little bit about Saleint?

Saleint is a Marketing agency specializing in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries. We offer our clients traditional and digital means to grow revenues and get their organizations noticed. 

How is Saleint different from other marketing agencies? 

We are different in the sense of our specialization. Most of our team members have some background in travel, tourism and hospitality. I for one, come with an extensive background, a trained hotelier, I have worked alongside Tourism Boards, Destination Management Companies, Travel agencies and Meeting planners; which allows us to bring perspectives from the various facets of the industry into the marketing of its products. 

We thrive because of our passion for travel and tourism. So we are in the industry, born in the industry, for the industry. 

What is your favorite mantra or affirmation that you say to yourself to keep you going? 

Make passion your work and you’ll never have to go to work again. I have not worked since I became an entrepreneur. This is my passion and each day is filled with joy and excitement to get to my desk.

In moments of self-doubt or adversity, how do you build yourself back up? 

By reminding myself that this too shall pass. Change is a constant in our lives and I embrace it. And if this does not do it for me, I look at my coffee mug that reads ‘I believed I could so I did’. Thinking about it makes my heart smile. 

Above all, spiritual connection always helps me stay strong even in adverse situations. 

What does success mean to you? 

A happy client. A well-deployed campaign. Achieving our goals and targets. 

What is the story behind the name ‘Saleint’?

Saleint started off as a Sales & Marketing Agency with a heavy focus on business development. The long-term goal was to work beyond the Canadian borders. Our work ethic, industry know-how, and creative mindset had always helped us stand out in crowds. By swapping the ‘e’ and ‘I’ in Salient we were showcasing all that we stand for.
